We will present chapters regarding the Prophetic methodology ﷺ in medicine—both in his own treatments and in the prescriptions he gave to others. We will highlight the profound wisdom in these teachings, a wisdom that surpasses the comprehension of even the most skilled physicians of this age. In fact, their knowledge in comparison to his ﷺ is like the folk remedies of the elderly when compared to modern science. We begin, seeking Allah's help, relying upon Him alone for strength and guidance. 🌙📿

| 1. Disease of Doubt & Confusion (Shubuhāt) 🤯 | A corruption of belief; doubts in revelation and the unseen. | Surah Al-Baqarah (2:10), Surah An-Nur (24:50), etc. |
| 2. Disease of Desire & Temptation (Shahawāt) 💘 | A corruption of intent; illicit desires and worldly obsessions. | Surah Al-Ahzab (33:32) |
These are diseases of the intellect and belief, such as hypocrisy, suspicion, and hesitancy regarding divine truth.
🔹 Allah says:
"In their hearts is a disease, so Allah has increased their disease."
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:10)
📝 Explanation: Their hearts were weak with hypocrisy and doubt; Allah increased them in confusion due to their rejection of truth.
🔹 Allah also says:
"That those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers may say: ‘What does Allah mean by this example?’"
(Surah Al-Muddathir 74:31)
📌 This refers to those who criticize divine parables due to their diseased hearts.
🔹 Another reference:
"And when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, a group among them turns away... Is there a disease in their hearts? Or are they in doubt? Or do they fear that Allah and His Messenger will be unjust to them? Nay! It is they who are the wrongdoers."
(Surah An-Nur 24:48–50)
