Narrated to us by the two noble, trustworthy, and righteous Shaykhs:
👤 Shaykh Tāj al-Dīn Abū al-‘Abbās Ahmad ibn ‘Alī ibn Abī al-Fadā’il al-‘Akbarī, the Shāfiʿī jurist,
👤 Shaykh Kamāl al-Dīn Abū Ḥafṣ ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Ḥusayn, the grandson of the esteemed Shaykh and Imām, the scholar and ḥāfiẓ Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Raḥīm ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Zajjāj.
📖 I listened as this narration was read to them both on Friday, the 16th of Rabīʿ al-Ākhir, in the year 733 AH, in the Salāmī Mosque in Dār al-Khilāfah, East Baghdad.
It was said to them:
You were informed by the great Imam and distinguished scholar:
👤 Mujadd al-Dīn Abū al-Faḍl ʿAbdullāh ibn Maḥmūd ibn Mawdūd ibn Maḥmūd ibn Baldajī,
📜 by ijāzah (authorization), and they affirmed it.
They both said:
We were informed by the pious ascetic Shaykh, the righteous Abū Bakr Mismār ibn ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn al-ʿUwīs al-Nayyār al-Muqri’ al-Baghdādī,
who narrated through direct hearing of the entire transmission, saying:

🕋 We were informed by Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿUmar ibn Ḥafṣ al-Ḥammāmī (may Allah have mercy upon him), who said:
